This is a collection of hymns done in a bluegrass style, and performed by members of the Meito Church band.

The recordings are ‘live’ and done at the church. After rehearsing, we set up recording sessions and then did 3 takes for each song.

When we finished our second session, we had a little time left, so we pulled up a few other songs and filled out our time. Several of those were surprisingly good, and made it to the CD.

As some of you know, Meito Church is no longer being provided a pastor by the ELCA/JELC, and we’re working hard to keep our worship in tact. In order to do that, we need to raise a little more money to pay for our service expenses. Proceeds from the sale of this CD will be added to the church’s general fund to help pay for those costs.

For those of you wondering who’s doing what on which songs, here’s a fairly good breakdown:
